I grew up in a small town that I won't name and made a lot of mistakes I won't excuse. What I will say is that the past few years have changed how I see the world. I read constantly — anything from Baldwin to Le Guin to whatever the chaplain leaves in the dayroom. I'd love to hear about your life on the outside: the boring stuff, the beautiful stuff, the things you'd tell a friend over coffee. I write back within a week, always handwritten.
